Established in 1953 by three brothers in Alamssera near Valencia, Lladró began producing carafes and vases and it wasn’t until 1956 that their first porcelain sculpture came to life. Enthusiasm for their work spread quickly through the town and by 1958 they moved into their first factory.
What makes their unique home accessories so special? It is their manufacturing ingredients are kept under tight guard, it’s the original blend of hard-paste porcelain and a very secretive glaze finish.
