Anglo-Italian design duo Brendan Young and Vanessa Battaglia first appeared on the international design scene in 2003 with their up-cycled furniture collection at Salone Satellite in Milan. Working initially under the name Studiomold, their early pieces included their 'Love 36' chair that was made using reject Dunlop tennis balls, and the award winning 'Recycled Sound' speakers made from old vinyl records. In 2011, they founded their own design brand Mineheart, which produces a range of interior accessories in England.
This charming Delf ceramic bulldog is made from glossy white ceramic glaze and is decorated with blue floral patterns and gold lustre detailing. This decorative item is a modern and playful twist on the classic patterned China crockery and will look stunning on dressers, cabinets or as a table centrepiece.
