Gubi Cobra Table Lamp - Jet Black

Scandinavian brand Gubi are the treasure hunters of our generation. Based in Copenhagen's docklands, and fuelled by a passion to uncover overlooked icons from the past and future icons in the making, Gubi are a serious design force receiving international recognition for their work. The result is an eclectic, international collection that blurs the lines between the past and the future, chasing forgotten icons from the 30's to the 70's. Greta Grossman (1906-1999) maintained a prolific forty-year design career on two continents, Europe and North America. Her achievements encompassed industrial design, interior designs and architecture. Throughout the 40's and 50's Grossman exhibited her designs at museums worldwide, including MoMA in New York and The National Museum in Stockholm. Gubi are officially giving this relatively unknown designer a second comeback.
