Minotti London: 20th Anniversary Celebration

Last week we had the pleasure of attending a wonderful event. Italian luxury furniture brand Minotti celebrated its 70th anniversary, and this year also marked the 20th anniversary of Minotti London. Also any excuse to go from Chelsea to Mayfair is a great excuse!

 

 

Minotti London’s stunning showroom was the ideal back drop for the evening, where delicious canapés, wine, champagne and beautifully dressed Londoners paraded on the immaculate space. 

Minotti focuses on the philosophy of Italian design, very distinctive and innovative. They pay great attention to details, materials, shapes, colours, and finishes of each piece of furniture and they’re styled in such a way that the brand’s heart is felt throughout the showroom. Think, beautiful grey concrete floors, dark wood paneling, luxurious marble-clad walls, and a monochromic and neutral colour palette.

 

 

The evening was punctuated by the beautiful sound of The Strikes, a strolling band based in Nice on the French Riviera, which made Anke Summerhill’s inspirational words all the more poignant. She has just stepped into the role of CEO for Minotti just as her husband steps down (they founded the company together and she was previously their Creative Director). We can’t wait to see what she brings to the brand along with her brilliant team. 

 

 

As the evening came to a close we took with us the hope of being able to partner (one day soon in the near future) with such an amazing brand.
