Renowned designer Garth Williams started working in Zimbabwe with a small group of highly skilled artisans in 1991. They developed an Afro-centric range using recycled metal, wood and rapoka stone that later that year established into a company named Afrika Trading. Ten years on, Williams significantly shaped the art scene in Zimbabwe but was forced to leave Zimbabwe in 2002. Afrika Trading eventually rebranded and became known as Edge Company, where Williams is still designing quality items today to add to his latest collection.
