The renowned Dutch company of designer furniture Artifort and designer Pierre Paulin collaborated to create this stunning stool. Pierre Paulin was a French furniture and interior designer who was renowned for making chairs using foams and metallic frames with stretch materials. Paulin’s quirky designs have influenced famous designers such as Olivier Mourgue, whose designs have been featured in Stanley Kubrick's classic film 2001: A Space Odyssey.
This quirky and eye-catching vibrant blue chair is inspired by the shape of a mushroom and has a steel insert frame covered with polyurethane foam. This bold design has been recognised for its originality and has caused a wave of influence on contemporary furniture design. A range of colours are available – please contact us for more options.
