Meet The Maker

The designer of this remarkable chair is Simone Micheli, proclaimed Interior Designer of the year at the 2008 International Design Awards. Simone has had an outstanding career as a designer and in 1990 he founded the architectural studio under his name as a professor at the university. Simone’s work is shown at some of the world's most important architecture and design exhibitions, making him one of the world’s leading designers.

Description

The original design by Simone Micheli came from the re-imagined shape of the classic wing luxury chair . In this quirky deconstruction, the buttoned back armchair has its ‘wings’ removed, adding a structural decorative element to its backrest. The metal base enables the chair to swivel on its axis, making for an armchair that oozes style.
