In 2009, Merci opened its doors in the Haut-Marais area of Paris. Their store is a destination with cafes and restaurants as well as exhibitions. Merci have said that they were originally inspired to create the Brooklyn collection after so many visitors to the store commented upon their tin counter. They collaborated with NLXL and created a wonderful collection of wallpaper featuring aged tin-plates that evoke memories of North America around the turn of the twentieth century.
The Brooklyn Tins Lounge Green Wallpaper features a repeating pattern of square tiles carved with varying flower designs, making for a piece that is imperfectly unique. The wallpaper boasts a rustic look, with its worn effect creating a vintage aesthetic. The wallpaper, which looks incredibly realistic, will infuse a casual style in the home.
