Since 2003, Ango have designed, developed and manufactured unique lighting. Their designs are an allegory about how we can live alongside nature in a technological world. Each piece has an organic from that is composed of natural materials to create a light diffuser element that is environmentally friendly.

This hanging light features a rattan shade that has been weaved into a unique shape. This beautiful creation is made from strands of rattan, where the skin has been peeled off and the remaining "core" of the rattan is formed into 1mm diameter wires. A weave technique is then used to attach the rattan to the stainless steel metal base. The colour of the extruded material is a soft yellow that deepens a little with age. Please note – the 230V/E27 bulb is not included.
