This hanging light features a rattan shade that has been designed to resemble a bird’s nest. This beautiful creation is made from strands of rattan, where the skin has been peeled off and the remaining "core" of the rattan is formed into 1mm diameter wires. A weave technique is then used to attach the rattan to the stainless steel metal base. The colour of the extruded material is a soft yellow that deepens a little with age.
