8-19 October BFI London Film Festival

The UK’s largest public film event, now in it’s 58th year, presents work by emerging as well as established film makers. As well as screenings, there will be informative lectures and fascinating Q&As with those who work in the field. Showcasing the very best of world cinema, this festival is not to be missed!

15 October Rembrandt: The Late Works, National Gallery

This exhibition (which runs until 18th January 2015) is organised in collaboration with Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum and comprises paintings, drawings and prints. The works depict the new style that Rembrandt developed during the latter part of his life from the 1650s until his death in 1669.

15-18 October Frieze Art Fair, Regent's Park

This annual contemporary art fair takes place once again in the stunning surroundings of Regent’s Park. It features the work of over 170 contemporary art galleries including a not for profit programme of commissions as well as film, music and talks. This year we will also be treated to the work of emerging artist and winner of the inaugural Frieze Artist Award 2014 – Mélanie Matranga.

15-19 October PAD London Art Fair, Mayfair

With 20th century art, design and decorative arts exhibited, the PAD London Art Fair has something for everyone, from the artist to the interior specialist. International galleries come together to create this unique event, combining a range of artistic mediums to showcase some of the incredible works currently on the market. Well worth a visit!

A relatively new event on the London art calendar, the Kinetica Art Fair is now in its 6th year and focuses on interdisciplinary new media art. In addition to the works on display, there will also be talks, presentations and performances that promise to make this one-of-a-kind event very special indeed.
