At The Longest Stay, we strive to be different and stand out not only in our selection of brands but also the way we showcase our partners on our carefully curated digital furniture showroom. Our soon to be re-launched website has a full media hub called “The Spotlight”, which features rich editorial content and shoppable videos.

In preparation for our soon-to-be launched website, we met up with some of our favourite brands and this is what we got up to…

First up, Bivain. If you’ve got a penchant for bold, colourful, fun and wanderlust-like design then this brand is for you. Our luxurious central London location above The Wolseley, was transformed with bursts of colour which contrasted beautifully with the classic look of our location.

Next up, the intense opulence of Boca do Lobo and the playful design of Delightfull. We travelled to Chelsea Harbour were we met a stunning display of furniture, lighting pieces and home accessories that embody Covet House. It was like walking into Aladdin’s cave with a mesmerising sight of pieces that blurred the lines between art and design. We even had the opportunity to meet the reincarnation of the one and only Amy Winehouse. As well as, coming up close and personal with Tina Turner.

The absolute piece de resistance of Covet House was this one of a kind gold plated dining table, which weighs a stunning 317kg! The magnificent Fortuna dining table is soon to be added to the TLS collection. Watch this space…

A hop, and a skip away we travelled to our next appointment over at the Chelsea Harbour Design Centre where Julian Chichester’s wonderful showroom is located. Our timing was spot on as we arrived so did the master himself - Julian Chichester. Sherry and Julian spent some time discussing future plans for both TLS and the eponymous label.

A brand that is known for its classically inspired English pieces with a twist on innovation, its no wonder Sherry had to go an hug the Paris table lamp. A beautiful hand-blown glass lamp adapted from a 19th century French eau de cologne bottle.

It wasn’t all work and no play, as you can see Sherry enjoyed some exploration (of the deepest kind!) with the Dakota dining table and also some insightful moments with the Bacco floor lamp.

Last but not least, we ended the day in Sherry’s home in South Kensington with a tall glass of rose and a play with her heart-melting pets. Cloud, in particular, wanted to be in all the videos and photos. Such a star!

However, our last task of the day still needed to be completed…A peek into Sherry’s life, home, why she founded The Longest Stay, her pet peeves and her mot embarrassing moment.
